Safe Work Australia 2025 Research Summit

Join the conversation at Safe Work Australia’s inaugural Research Summit 2025.

The Research Summit will bring together experts in work health and safety and workers’ compensation, to build consensus around the most important emerging trends and research gaps for the WHS and workers’ compensation system over the next decade.

The Research Summit program has been designed as an in-person event. Delegates will hear thought-provoking keynote speeches and panel discussions and be encouraged to get involved—exploring opportunities for collaboration based on data-driven insights and lived experiences.

The program features a series of 90-minute interactive workshops facilitated by professional moderators from MosaicLab. These sessions will feature:

• short, insightful presentations to spark ideas and frame key issues
• group conversations that encourage diverse perspectives, and
• digital platforms to capture real-time insights, reflections, and questions.

At its core, the Research Summit is an opportunity to build meaningful connections between researchers, governments and social partners on WHS and workers’ compensation topics that will endure beyond the event itself. The event not only gives delegates the opportunity to hear thought provoking keynote speeches and panel discussions but also encourages delegates to get involved, as we explore opportunities for collaboration based on data-driven insights and lived experiences.
